Veeva Architect/Veeva Lead

As a Veeva Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Veeva-based solutions for the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and administrators, to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and reliable Veeva solutions. Your expertise in Veeva applications, data models, integration strategies, and best practices will be key in guiding the implementation and evolution of Veeva systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and architecture of Veeva solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
3. Design and implement Veeva data models, configuration, and customizations to meet business objectives.
4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and administrators working on Veeva applications.
5. Define and enforce Veeva development standards and best practices to ensure system stability, scalability, and maintainability.
6. Conduct code and design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural principles and quality standards.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Veeva applications with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, ERP, and data warehouses.
8. Perform system performance analysis, tuning, and optimization to enhance the overall performance of Veeva applications.
9. Stay updated with the latest Veeva releases, features, and industry trends to provide recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
10. Act as a subject matter expert on Veeva functionality, capabilities, and limitations, and provide guidance to business stakeholders on system capabilities and potential solutions.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
2. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Veeva systems, including Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, or other Veeva applications.
3. Strong understanding of Veeva data models, configuration, and customizations.
4. Proficiency in Veeva development tools, such as Veeva Configuration Workbench (VCW), Veeva Network, or Veeva iRep.
5. Experience with Veeva integration methods and technologies, such as Veeva Web Services, REST APIs, or ETL tools.
6. Familiarity with pharmaceutical or life sciences industry processes, compliance requirements, and regulations.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Certifications in Veeva Administrator, Veeva Developer, or Veeva Architect are highly desirable
